A new approach to working with care-experienced children and young people.
Two projects, commissioned by South Tyneside Council and funded by the DfE, sought to understand the impact of Covid-19 on Children in Care Councils, and supervised contact (family time).
Working in partnership with Redcar and Cleveland Children in Care Council we are developing a creative resource with care experienced children and young people, which will document their experiences of being in care.

A partnership project responding to the Covid-19 emergency, developing and delivering 400 creative packs to care-experienced children and young people across the North East
A co-creation project with care-experienced young men in Deerbolt Prison, supporting the young men to be recognised as artists.
A partnership with Darlington Virtual School to facilitate creative opportunities and mentoring for care-experienced children and young people.
A year long creative Arts Award project with the children, young people and staff at Harewood Hill Lodge respite home in Darlington.
More Stuff Life This Please! was a two-year programme, funded by Culture Bridge North East and Stockton Borough Council, delivered in partnership by ARC Stockton (lead partner), Stockton Borough Council and Blue Cabin.
Through Arts Award we support care-experienced children and young people to achieve a national qualification whilst developing their confidence and skills in creativity, communication and leadership.
