Ruth Mary Johnson is a theatre maker who directs, performs, writes, and facilitates, with a passion for creating stories with, alongside and for young people.
Ruth has worked with a range of companies and organisations, both locally and nationally, to bring stories to life, including National Theatre, New Writing North, Curious Arts, Theatre By The Lake, Alphabetti Theatre, University of Sunderland, BarrowFull, for example.
Ruth also works as clown doctor for TinArts, taking the idea of play into hospital settings.
She lives by the sea with her best friend, Jack the greyhound, and loves biscuits, sharing stories and making them up!
Ruth is so excited to be working as an Associate Artist with Blue Cabin, a company who care so much about everyone they work with.
