Rohima has a background in art and design and is currently progressing in the creative field as a performer. She has about 10 years experience in working for museums and galleries, supporting family workshops as well as facilitating workshops addressing mental health.
Having completed an art traineeship at the Foundling Museum, Rohima understands the significance art activities have in supporting young people. And as a care leaver, Rohima is looking forward to making a meaningful impact by supporting Blue Cabin’s work, which uses creative activities to strengthen the relationships between care experienced individuals and the people in their lives.
In her spare time Rohima enjoys hiking with Young Star Mentoring which is a charity that supports young people with physical activity.
“Being involved with these organisations and charities, which have supported me to grow into the young woman I am now, has motivated me to inspire other young care leavers,” said Rohima.
