Joanne is an experienced children’s social worker and manager, with over 25 years’ experience working in Local Authorities. She has held various roles from children’s social worker to head of service, all within statutory children’s services, with significant direct experience of working with care-experienced children and young people.
Joanne has been involved in our Creative Life Story Work project, and has worked closely and collaboratively with Blue Cabin throughout.
When not working Joanne enjoys spending time with clay and describes herself as an ‘enthusiastic amateur potter’. She loves to spend time with her pottery friends at a local pottery studio each week and has also created her own studio at home where she enjoys time on her wheel!
