A Local Authority Social Worker, a Principle Business Analyst with the NHS, and a Strategy Consultant will be bringing their skills to Blue Cabin’s Board of Trustees.
Camelia Chowdhury Allen has been appointed as a Trustee, while Jasna Khadirkunju will join as a Shadow Board Member, with the aim of moving into a full Trustee role in 2027. Emon Choudhury, who is currently a care experienced consultant with Blue Cabin, will move into a Trustee role in September 2026.
Camelia is a Local Authority social worker specialising in work with children and young people in care, with additional experience supporting care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, kinship families and adoptive families. Jasna is a Principal Business Analyst at the NHS Business Services Authority, with more than a decade of experience working across healthcare, technology and business transformation. And Emon is an experienced strategy consultant with a track record of driving growth and delivering change across both the public and private sectors, including for FTSE 100 companies.
They will help to guide Blue Cabin’s work as it enters its 10th year of operating. Jasna will be supported in her role as a Shadow Board Member through training, mentoring, reflection and learning opportunities, and will have a ‘buddy’ in the form of current Trustee, Wendy Price, who is also moving into the role of Vice Chair.
Blue Cabin Chair, Adam Kent, welcomed Camelia and Jasna to the team, saying: “What excites me most about these appointments isn’t just the skills Camelia, Jasna and Emon bring, but the values they share with Blue Cabin. They each bring significant expertise from their respective areas, along with a shared passion to improve opportunities for care experienced children and young people. As I move into the role of Vice Chair, I look forward to working closely with them and taking on the role of Trustee Buddy to Jasna.”
Two of Blue Cabin’s existing Trustees, Catherine Hearne and Adele Brown, will be stepping down from the board after completing terms of nearly five years, and one year respectively.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Catherine and Adele for the kindness, wisdom and dedication they have brought to Blue Cabin. Their contribution has made a lasting difference to the organisation, and we wish them both every success in whatever comes next,” said Adam Kent.

Adam Kent (Chair): Adam is currently the Director of Creative Learning and Engagement at Bristol Beacon, a previous Director of Learning and Engagement at The Lowry in Salford and Senior Manager at Sage Gateshead.
Dr Alexandria Bradley: Alexandria is a senior academic and researcher at Leeds Beckett University. She specialises in therapeutic practice and the implementation of trauma-informed practice.
Camelia Chowdhury Allen: Camelia is a Local Authority social worker specialising in work with children and young people in care, with additional experience supporting care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, kinship families and adoptive families.
Emon Choudhury: is an experienced strategy consultant with a track record of driving growth and delivering change across both the public and private sectors, including for FTSE 100 companies.
Jasna Khadirkunju (Shadow Board Member): Jasna is a Principal Business Analyst at the NHS Business Services Authority, with more than a decade of experience working across healthcare, technology and business transformation.
Mark Dibble (Vice Chair): Mark is HR Director for the NHS Business Services Authority and also has his own coaching business, supporting people to be their best.
Rohima Celine: Rohima has a background in art and design and is currently progressing in the creative field as a performer.
Sedil Kilic: Sedil is a transport modeller with a background in civil engineering and a postgraduate degree in Transport from Imperial College London.
Wendy Price (Vice Chair): Wendy is Head of Widening Access and Participation at the University of Sunderland. She has over 20 years’ experience of directly supporting care-experienced young people to access and succeed in higher education.
