Blue Cabin is looking for an exceptional Early Years Musician to work on This is the Place, to co-facilitate music making activities for care-experienced children aged 0- 5 years and their carers.

We are looking for a musician whose practice is child centred and underpinned by social pedagogy and / or a trauma informed approach; someone who can co-facilitate creative, playful, and open-ended music sessions alongside another Blue Cabin artist.

In exchange Blue Cabin offers our collective of artists a daily rate of £250, with additional paid time to cover Therapeutic supervision, reflection sessions, planning, attendance at meetings, and training, where funding allows. We are delighted that the successful candidate will also be provided with mentoring from Blue Cabin Trustee Eleanor Mooney.

Whilst we are looking for a musician to work on This is the Place specifically, for the right candidate there could be other opportunities to facilitate other activities as part of Blue Cabin’s portfolio of projects.
