Harewood Hill Lodge: A Creative Care Home

Over the next 10 months, children and their carers from Harewood Hill Lodge will take part  in and experience arts and cultural activities together; working with professional artists, visiting arts and cultural venues, and participating in activities within the home.

As part of the project, staff will train to become Arts Award Advisers, so they will be able to support the children and young people who access Harewood Hill Lodge to achieve an Arts Award.

Harewood Hill Lodge is a short break service for children and young people with physical and learning disabilities, managed by Darlington Borough Council.

We are extremely grateful to County Durham and Darlington NHS Health Improvement Fund, managed by the County Durham Community Foundation, who, along with Darlington Borough Council, have made this project possible.
