Children and young people with experience of the care system will have equal opportunities to achieve their fullest potential, participate in and contribute to all aspects of life.
Blue Cabin aims to nurture meaningful relationships between children and young people with experience of the care system, and the adults and organisations who play a significant part in their lives. Creativity is at the heart of this process.
How do we achieve this?
We achieve this by acting as a much-needed connector, building bridges between people, organisations and communities such as local authorities, the cultural sector and children in care.
We bring together sectors to forge partnership working, align strategic thinking, and develop innovative creative interventions which meet the needs of local communities.
We aspire to change the way issues are tackled in our society to improve outcomes for children and young people with experience of the care system and the adults in their lives, and impact upon the learning of others.
We demonstrate a capacity for listening and responsiveness to our beneficiaries and partners, and think thoughtfully and creatively about how to meet their needs.
